Event Description
This year, USBG Pittsburgh and Campari America teamed up for a huge fundraiser to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The USBG Pittsburgh Executive Council & Charity Committee (with the help of Campari America and photographer, Alyssa Capolupo) put together a Charity Calendar featuring bars and restaurants from around the Pittsburgh area. During their featured month, each bar or restaurant will donate proceeds of their signature cocktail to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
Monday, June 5th from 7-10 pm, Smallman Galley will be open to the public to celebrate the launch of the Charity Calendar and kick off Negroni Week in style with a special preview of the incoming class of new Smallman Galley Chefs! [More on the new chefs here: www.pittsburghmagazine.com
A $5 cash donation at the door goes to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and gets each person a drink ticket that is good for Smallman Galley's Charity Cocktail, "You're Killing Me, Smallman."
The incoming class of chefs will each have a preview menu available for dinner and there will be a limited cash bar featuring Negroni variations, mixed drinks & select wine & beer.
The calendars will be for sale the night of the event. However, there is a pre-sale option available for the Charity Calender as there is a limited number. Use the following link to reserve your keepsake at www.eventbrite.com. The cost of the calendar is $20. All pre-sale calendars must be picked up at Smallman Galley on Monday, June 5th between 7 and 10 pm.
What's Negroni Week?
The first full week of June every year since 2013 participating bars from around the country donate portions of Negronis sold to various charities.
